Meet Mr. Lincoln
Your students will actually be able to Meet Mr. Lincoln during this very unique and touching program. The president has invited a special group of students
(i.e., your students!) to visit with him at White House on a Good Friday, 1865. The visit is brief one, only 45 minutes or so, because the President and his
wife are soon to leave for an evening at Ford’s Theatre.

Inventing Thomas Edison
This is your students’ opportunity to interact with Thomas Edison. This exciting program begins with our performer, Tom Swenson, setting the stage, both
figuratively and actually but using props and visual aids to quickly place the students at the turn of the 19th to 20th centuries, a crossroads of American history.
He then quickly dons his costume and makeup and transforms himself into Thomas Edison right before the students’ eyes!

Characters with Character!
All three characters above - Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Edison and Mark Twain come
appear in this fast paced exciting program about how character makes a
difference in the world, but more importantly, in the daily lives of each of us.
Mr. Swenson enters as Mark Twain and then transforms into the other two
personages alternately BEING the these famous Americans, and talking about them.
