Mark Twain Today is a program that will delight young and old. This program informs, entertains and warms the hearts of students in grades K through eight.

Elementary school students gasp as our actor turns to them and has magically transformed into Mark Twain (aka Samuel L. Clemens). Mr. Twain has invited your students to visit him at his home, where he tells his life story and stories he has written. His amazing sense of humor is evident throughout yet a message of respect and tolerance for difference, the equality of all and the value of a strong family comes through as well. Younger students are tickled by this funny stories and older students learn some tricks for improving their own writing skills. Middle and High School students really identify with his struggles to maintain his individuality, his wrestling matches with authority and his skeptical views of humanity.
